Inflation, US Recession and Indian jobs

It is quite interesting to see how in India dollar is dancing to someones tunes which is quite reverse in the country where it was counted as the Power on hand. Probably the win against the mighty Australians is just symbolic to indicate the Elephant started jogging, albeit finally.

No doubt we spoiled Australians dream, thus denying more chances of looking down upon us in the cricket ring atleast. Runs from team, in particular, Sachin's willow will help silence some of the so-called critics from accepting that it is not always that Pawar depends on financial power, but ability of his boys to bring home the cups.

However, this whole scenario might have a negative, if I may say so, impact on Indian sporting scene, for everybody thinks this is fast becoming India's answer to Formula one, with money and glamour (recently visible in blatant manner). This could let many boys say Chak De books and classes for so-called cricket grounds, while other sports bodies keep crying foul in a helpless manner. This is reminscent of the scene in 1998 when many young guys joined the bandwagon of famously called Y2K fever and by the end of 2002, it was clear that they have to hang on somehow with future bleak for them, a la 2000 Junior World Champions of Cricket.

Somehow I have a strange feeling that the IT fever then and now the cricket fever are in similar lines which will only help distract youth from taking up steady careers. every one can see what is happening to BPO, where >50% attrition rates are quite common or IT sector where changing jobs after 3 years is a norm. However, after few jumps, the circle has to end. Then one must not forget that circle has no other direction, but going in circles, and if they stop, then......only downward.
