These are the great words spoken of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba! If one understands the real "meaning" of the above, they are sure to feel sorry for all those so called devotees who "follow" HIM as a GOD.
Everyday, a new temple is being added to the ever increasing list of temples to HIM in some corner of the world. However, when someone talks of these, they invariably say- "that temple is better than this temple", or "we follow correct procedure which is not being followed in other temple" - not withstanding the omnipresence of the Great Master. There are many who say they built or building HIS temples, but none to say, we are trying to follow HIS path sincerely. Why is this so? Is anyone really trying to understand what HE said or did in HIS life time? There are even stories, that too for children, where in they are trying to project HIM as just one more Hindu God, while all through HIS life, HE has been a symbol of no religion, no caste or creed.
There are many netizens who say they watch LIVE aarti or do LIVE darshan or post HIS sayings. This is a good thing as they remind us all of HIM in some form or other. But is that enough? All HIS life, he never taught Yoga or talked of Brahmam or Gnana etc.. HE only asked every one to be a "real" human being. Are we really trying to be so? Everyone has an excuse to say that all is not possible in this commercial world. But there are great souls who lived in this life time, but still tried to follow the path HE showed. Talking or expressing the love for HIM is not sufficient, till we really get down to the action and try to emulate HIM in every deed or atleast in few - like being truthful, helping others sincerely as much as they can, loving and caring towards all beings etc...
Let us sincerely pray to HIM to awaken our sense (not so common one) atleast now to stop treating him as one more GOD who is restricted to our pooja rooms or wall calendars or few temples. Let us start working inside out of ourselves to see if we really love HIM or trying to fake it for few simple short term gains. Shut yourself up and start checking out sincerely till you get an answer for this. Let us all come clean and start afresh to understand who HE is, and how to pray to HIM. More importantly WHY to pray to HIM. Till we get an answer, let us try.
There are many people in this world who say they can teach, by displaying few padukas or arranging few gatherings. Question them too as to what they understand about HIM and why and how to pray to HIM till you get a logical answer. If they can not answer you, leave them, but do not fall for them.
Let us all follow HIM, understand HIM, and try living like HIM, for Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is the only light, only path to follow for this Century. Try to understand HIS deeds more so that we can start putting them in to actions in our small world.
